Re: Uploading my own CSV or Excel file of webinar registrants

Has anyone actually ever use GoToWebinar to spam? - i feel like your limiting your product out of fear. I would love back the hours I've spend having to manually upload individual contacts.

Re: Uploading my own CSV or Excel file of webinar registrants

Hi Nate, unfortunately yes and we have had to ban a number of users because they were registering people without their consent and re-registering them after they used the opt-out option in our email. There are some integration options out there to use with other systems http://www.gotomeeting.com/integration-marketplace/integration-marketplace

Is there a way to upload a list of attendees for a webinar? We have a large group that wants to attend and would like an easy way to sign up without everyone registering. Can we upload a CSV or Excel file?

Competitive products offer the feature.  I know you'll delete the comment if I say who they are, so I won't.

Bypassing the GoToWebinar Registration Page

I'm curious to know if when attendees click on the GoToWebinar registration url link, they can bypass the registration page and go straight into the GoToWebinar meeting.  I already have a webform to collect their information.  And because my attendees are going straight from an automated webinar into a GoToWebinar, I want it to flow directly from the automated webinar into GoToWebinar as smoothly as possible.  Is this doable?

Much thanks,

Rory

Re: Bypassing the GoToWebinar Registration Page

Hi Rory,

No, attendees have to register in order to receive their join link for the webinar. Can you explain what you mean by "my attendees are going straight from an automated webinar into a GoToWebinar"?

Re: Bypassing the GoToWebinar Registration Page

Hi Glenn, thanks for your reply.

To clarify, attendees join a Stealth Seminar, and at the conclusion of the presentation there is a CTA button, in that button is a link to the GoToWebinar registration page.  Some webinar companies like Stealth Seminar have an "attend webinar" link, where once they click on the link they go straight into the seminar, bypassing any registration page process.

Does that make sense?

My goal is to make the transition from Stealth Seminar to GoToWebinar more streamlined.
