Html5 client removed from GoToWebinar? (app or exe only?)

Hello Everyone,

It seems that GoToWebinar clientType=html5 no longer works (Instant Join).

No matter what we do, the system always prompt a download of the executable (which isn't allowed in our environment).

We tried even messing with the user agent to see if the html5 can be enabled on "non-supported" O.S. but unless you install / run executables, goToWebinar no longer works.

 

Most of the competing products support a web browser only solution.

 

Does anyone knows if there's any plan to re-introduce this feature in GoToWebinar? (or if the command to use just a plain browser to join has changed?)

The webinars load using "clientType=html5", but with no audio. That seems strange.

@mencik  I'm sorry we no longer support this functionality, and the support documents referenced have been retired.
