Several times now, I have saved a preferred long distance number by using the "star' in the default audio options. Inevitably, it does not appear to save for long. Unfortunately, I do not always catch it until I get an angry email from someone who dialed Australia and did not see the "calling in from another country?" hyperlink. Is this happening after updates, is there a bug with the save? What is causing this?
