Setting up a 2-day webinar

Hello. Hoping someone can help answer a question regarding a 2-day webinar. I have set up the meeting as one webinar with 2 sessions.

We have reminders set to send out 1 day and 1 hr. prior to the start of the session.

Does anyone know if the participants will get reminder emails for both days or just the first day ?

Thank you for any assistance you can provide.

Re: Setting up a 2-day webinar

Hi @latikaw

The current behavior is to only send a reminder about the first session in a webinar series.  In most cases registrants will also add the event to their calendar so they receive alerts when the event approaches.

Re: Setting up a 2-day webinar

Ash,

Thank you for confirming this. It was good to ask this question as we assumed they'd get 4 email reminders, not just the 2. Appreciate your help.

Re: Setting up a 2-day webinar

Ash,

I set up a test 2-day webinar and did indeed receive two email reminders for both days.

Just clarifying the previous response in case this comes up for someone else.

Thank you.

@latikaw  Did you receive the emails as a Registrant, or Organizer?

As a registrant. I used a personal email to test the system and did indeed get 2 reminders.

Nice.  I'm glad that behavior is more consistent now.
