Time in Session for Webinars

Hello,

 

I am issuing credits for attending on-demand webinars and I use the time in session to determine who gets credit for attendance. Is it possible to view an entire hour long webinar while only having a few minutes recorded in time in session? 

 

What exactly does time in session mean? Should I just go by the "attended" column? I understand attended to mean they opened the video recording.

 

What do others do to ensure proper credit? This is an auditable process for me so I must have a record to produce when requested.
