Just wondering if there has been any progress for GoTo to have their own option for background without the outside software?

We could never get the outside vendor to work so we are interested when this would be available as well.

When your account transitions to the new GoTo you should see webcam options like background blurring and virtual images to utilize with your live webcam feeds.  GoToWebinar users will be upgraded in the coming weeks.

As mentioned in this thread, you can use ChromaCam, a third party service for customized backgrounds currently. Virtual backgrounds are part of the new GoTo app experience and will be available on GoTo Webinar when it's launched sometime this year.

Hello, we have tried to use the app (Chroma) and it doesn't work. I have also looked into the desktop app (app.goto.com) and we don't have our webinars on there.

Are you able to advise when we might be able to use virtual backgrounds for webinars? We really need this function. I am in Australia and our account just clicked over into the new year.

Any assistance to get this up and running would be appreciated as there is pressure from management to use another platform.

Hi @ChildSafe welcome to the GoTo Community. 

The new GoToWebinar experience is now entering beta availability. When it is available for your account you will see a banner at the top of your dashboard after your sign in on the website. Do you see the banner on your dashboard as shown below? 

Note, you will also have the option to opt-out and return to the Classic GoToWebinar experience by signing in on the website and going to Settings.
