Hamachi on Synology NAS

Hi guys,

First of all, I'm relatively new to VPN services like Hamachi. My company uses it to connect to our file server, so it's pretty important.

I just upgraded to a macbook air, and as most of you know, hamachi doesn't work on macs released in the past couple years. I hate keeping my old computer around for the sole purpose of connecting to the work server, but there doesn't seem to be any other options. This is extremely disappointing to me, but there's nothing for me to do, and I'm not going to buy a whole new computer just so I can use hamachi.

However, I do have a synology NAS drive. I've tried searching around for a way to install Hamachi on the nas drive, and it seems like it's possible through docker, but it doesn't seem to be very straightforward. On top of that, I can't seem to just download and log in to hamachi- I have to use a dedicated download site sent specifically to me, and I don't know how to make that work with a docker file.

Does anyone have any tips? Or any other workarounds for arm chip computers?

Thanks in advance!
