I want to change my virtual ip to an specific ip

I've trying to change an ip from 25.X.X.X to 25.0.X.X and I realize that unistalling hamachi and deleting the user information the ip can change when you reinstaill it again, but a got another random number 25.Y.X.X

Any ideas if i can make manually or  i have to still trying randomly?

Hi @alan9,

When you create an Hamachi network the IP address is generated automatically and cannot be changed.

Static IP on Hub and spoke configuration

Goodmorning,

i'm setting up a configuration where some clients connect to a server with Hub-spoke configuration.

I need server access using an ip address and not with hostname, so my question is:

with this setup (Hub-spoke) on hamachi the server keep the same virtual ip address or it change sometimes?

And the IP address is always the same, or it changes after a while?

Hi @futhura ,

We merged your post to this thread.

Every Hamachi client has one virtual IPv4 (IP) address in the 25.x.x.x range and one IPv6 address. The virtual IP address is globally unique and is used to access the client from any other Hamachi network with at least one common mesh or hub-and-spoke network.

When you create a Hamachi network we generate its IP address and it keeps it as long as the network exists.
