I almost quit my job today as one of my clients who doesn't understand how enterprise works made me go through hell. So I want to ask and I'll be detailed as possible
There's a company with 50 users and over 1000 sites. They've started using LastPass and were using it wrongly. They got an enterprise account. What they did was letting each user have access to specific sites and share it with others. Right from the beginning, they do not know how to restrict password access and a super admin was not assigned to managed other users.
What they want right now is how to take control of each user vault and manage it from one central place (super admin). Is this possible? is there anywhere a super admin can access the vault of other users under the super admin? Can he control the vault of other users and all sites stored under those users' accounts?
My head is aching because this client doesn't give us a chance to explain things to him. all he wants is how to manage the items stored under a user account in his enterprise account because he's a super admin. If this is possible, please help
Hi @Metrix,
Currently there isn't an Admin Role which allows them to view/access other users' Vault, although super admins have all of the same permissions as admins (listed here), as well as:
So a super admin could manage all of the shared folders and access options for the shared folders, essentially managing which user has access to which site.
If you or they have any additional questions or would like more information about what options are available or what would work best for them, you can also reach out the Business support team any time. You can access the support phone number through your LastPass Admin Console > Support or you can request a callback by scrolling down and clicking "Contact Support" on this page and entering your business account info and you should then be given the option to receive a callback usually within less than 5 minutes: https://support.logmeininc.com/lastpass/help/what-are-admin-roles
