What I did was having the user go here to delete their account if they haven't used it in a long time and will not need anything from it: LastPass - Delete Your Account
After doing so, their account should disappear from the invited list in which you can re-send the activation to their account as a new user.

thanks for your proposal. In my case it didn´t work.
let me explain my steps incl. the environment we work with.
Azure Ad / local AD
SSO also on LastPass
I create the user in AD and ad them to the needed group in AD for LastPass
After a short time the user will shown in "Invited users" and not as normal under the menue point users.
I remove the user from AD Group, after that I try to delete them from Adminconsole in LastPass as well within the Option "delete user include the vault permanet" but it doesen´t work. Only the option "remove invitation" works. User disapear from "inveted users" and was not shown into the Admin Console.
When I add the again to the AD Group the same starts from the beginning.
Any Idea ?
