Enable copy function for password fields in custom item types

When I create a custom item type and add a password field, I'm unable to use the 'copy' button from the browser extension.  This would be very useful to have and cut out several extra steps that are currently required -- clicking into the item, click into the password field, highlighting, then copying.

I'm having trouble with the same thing.  In the vault, I can right-click and "Copy Password", but not in the extension dropdown (as shown in the original post).

I came to this site to post this same exact feature suggestion. Hopefully the developers can work on this soon.

Since the extension won't  let me copy the password, I have to click edit which opens the item in the vault, then I have to reveal (un-hide) the password, and copy it to the clipboard. This leaves the password in the clipboard available for a malicious app or website to steal it, because the LastPass setting to clear the clipboard after x amount of time does not activate this way (only if you copy the password from the dropdown).
