LastPass Android App Asks to Appear on Top

I'm using the beta version of the LastPass app on the Play Store with my Samsung Galaxy S10. Occasionally it'll popup in my notifications saying it needs permission to 'Appear on top' of other apps and when I tap on the notification it brings me to the settings page where I already gave it permission to 'Appear on top'. Only occassionally it gives me the notification and every time, I tap on it and it just brings me to the same page in settings where I already gave LastPass the permissions needed for Autofill. I think this is a bug with the beta version of the LastPass Android app and I don't know if it's an issue on the non-beta version.

Hello,

 

Could you try to uninstall the LastPass app, restart your device, then reinstall the app and re-enable "Display over other apps" to see if that will resolve the issue? 

If this doesn't resolve the issue, please create a support ticket by scrolling down on this page and clicking Contact Support to open a ticket so that our team can investigate and hopefully resolve this:

I am having the same issue.

I am using a Pixel 4 with the production (non-beta) version of LastPass. It constantly asks for permission to "display over other apps", but I have already given it that permission.

I've been getting the same notification off and on for YEARS, over dozens of released versions, on both my previous phone (Samsung Galaxy J3 Luna Pro, Android 6.1) and my current one (Google Pixel 3a, Android 10). It'll be working fine for a few days, then, bam, it asks for 'display over other apps' permission, even though it is ALREADY ENABLED in settings.

Personally, this is the single most annoying thing about LastPass. Devs, please fix this!

I'm using a OnePlus5 and a Samsung SM-T827V Tablet. BOTH will give me the setting reminder directing me to change my setting allowing "display over other apps" permission. It's already set to allow. What gives?
