Push notification on Iphone not working

In the last couple of days the push notifcation has stopped working on the IOS the lp auth app.  It appears if I open the app manually.  How can I fix this?

Nothing to do with the iphone. I had to completely remove 2fa and setup a new one. However that was easier said that done, when I tried to scan in the new key to pair the phone it was buggy and took about 10 attempts. I presume because it refused to discard the old pairing
