Combining 2 Premium Accounts into Family

I'm interested in the new Family plan as my wife and I both have premium accounts, and I might like to add others later. Just checking, if I add my wife to my account, will her existing vault automatically be imported or do we have to do that manually? Also, will it cancel her premium account when she joins the family account, or does that have to be done separately?

The accounts would stay separate, but there will now be managed shared folders. There is a FAQ regarding billing, but it might be different with the current six month free promotion for existing premium users until October 31st.
