I haven't used LogMeIn for a long time. I order to start using again I had to reset my account. That's fine.
I created a new password.
But when I try to log in, it keeps asking me for my Google Auth passcode, which I don't have anymore. Hence I click "Lost my google auth device".
For my surprise, the next screen says: "This multifactor authentication service is not enabled for your account: Google Authenticator."
Dead end.
Loop.
If this service is not enabled for my account, then WTH it keeps asking me when I try to log in?!!!
Could anyone pls help me?
Hi @diego3,
We've done a reset on your account (you may get an email that Google Authenticator was disabled on your account as a result of this refresh,) could you try logging in to LastPass again to see if you can log in?
I am having the same issue. My Lastpass account has been reset, but still asking for Google Authenticator when I try to login. Will you please reset (refresh) my account as well?
Hi @bwimberley,
We've done the same for your account, could you try logging in to LastPass again?
I too recently reset my account. I created a LastPass account long ago but stopped using it because I felt unsafe. But now I wanted to start using it again. When I try to log in, I get the same error. May you please refresh my account as well?
my username/email is raghavmittal101@gmail.com
Hi @raghavmittal101,
Are you able to disable the Google Authenticator via email following these steps? If not, what error message do you see?
I get this page after following the mentioned steps and there is no email received.
Hi @raghavmittal101,
We've done a refresh on your account, could you try logging in to LastPass to see if you can login without the MFA prompt?
All is well. The reset worked. Thank you.
