I am already testing a new pwd manager. I cannot keep using a software which has so poor QA to store all my passwords.

Last Monday LP support told me to go to the Vault -> Advanced Options -> and Turn OFF "Used Improved Save and Fill".  Since doing that and clearing cache and cookies (I just thought it would be a good idea), When I restarted Edge, the LP extension reverted to the old interface and search works, edits works like is used to.  There is still some latency after you open a record, make a change, and save.  Maybe 4 to 8 seconds after you click save until the extension is responsive. 

For me, I'll stick with LP for now.  I got over 1600 records and the competition does not import attached documents.  The pain of changes to still greater than the pain of staying the same.

Thank you. This was great information. Why couldn't LastPass have told us about this option weeks ago when they rolled out the new interface??

After a couple of days of returning to the previous version. the current version

Version 4.107.1.3

is now working through no effort of my own besides reverting to the previous version a few times.

Oh my god, I take that back. It was working. and now it's back to the crap version.

 

I was just adding a new payment type (TO PAY FOR LASTPASS MIND YOU) and it crashed, specifically when I was choosing a 'month' of the card.

When I went back to the lastpass payment page it said "add a new payment card" popup in the lastpass extension.. and it crashed *again* at the month selection.

 

and now nothing can be searched again.

Have you applied Scott755 suggestion from 1-19-2023?  Open the Vault and go to Advanced Setting, turn off "Use Improved Save and Fill".  If it is currently OFF, turn it On then turn it OFF again.

I also suggest clearing cookies and cache and then closing the browser and restarting, then log back into LP.  I have 14 premium accounts for businesses I support and this process has fixed the issues in everyone I've applied it to.

Definitely not solved, still having a lot of difficulty filling passwords, i have to go open the vault, and the come back to the original page i wanted to sign in to, and somehow that causes it to "fill" as if signalling to the extension that, yes, indeed, I'm logged in.  But the functionality is way down.

I did as instructed here.  Not sure how, but when I restarted my browser I was using the old version of the Firefox Lastpass extension.   I thought, Hurray!,  but then remembered comments here about the extension updating again to the flawed one.  I quickly went to Manage Extension and turned off automatic updates.    I restarted the computer this morning and I am still on the old version.

Concur!  I am a premium user and hate the new extension.  Please at least bring back access to folders from the drop down.  Takes far more steps now to go to vault to rummage around trying to find what I'm looking for when my previous folder organization worked smoothly and quickly.

I am on day 3 and still using the "old version" of the Firefox extension.  Whatever I did is still working.  One thing confusing to me is version number still reads 4.107.1.3.

 

So, maybe the problem isn't the version number, but those advanced setting that I changed?
