Hello,
I have 2 computers running LastPass on Brave Browser, one of them works without any issues, the other one asks for 2FA after every browser restart. I have removed extension, checked all options to be identical as on the working computer, removed computer from Trusted Devices and re-added it, nothing helps. When the browser restarts, I can just close 2FA authentication tab, enter account password in extension and it works, however it is very annoying to enter password every time. Checkbox to remember password is also not an option. I want it to work the same way as it does on working computer. I start a browser and my account is logged in seamlessly in the background.
Thank you
Milan

I have managed to get it working. I tried to regenerate 2fa few times as advised by support, it started to work on the other PC but stopped working on the one that worked before.
This is how I fixed it:
1. Remove all devices from trusted devices
2. Disable google 2FA
3. Logout from both devices
4. Login only via username and password on both devices
5. Enable google 2FA
6. Restart browsers, new tab opens where to enter 2FA one-time password, select save for 30 days and pick a name
7. Restarted browsers, all worked well
However I had to do it few times because when I have entered 2FA to extension dialog (not separate tab), that is when the issue started again.
Always enter 2FA to a new tab, not via extension dialog
Hi @MilanB7, welcome to the community.
I would recommend checking the settings of this Brave browser, it sounds like it is deleting the session cookie that is set after you confirm your 2FA code.
Hello,
the settings and cookies are same on both devices. I have even tried to reinstall browser completely and removed all data. Same problem on that one device. Very strange ... 😞
