Ongoing bug where the right site password doesn't show up

So this has been happening to my friend for over a year now and it just happened to me.

 

You open a new tab and go to a new site and it brings up the p/w for the other site you were just on.

When is this going to be fixed?

Hello @ReviveQuality,

 

Could you try these steps to see if it fixes this issue?

  • Click the LastPass icon in your web browser toolbar.
  • Go to Account Options or click your email at the bottom of this menu > Advanced > Refresh Sites then Clear Local Cache.
  • Log out and log back in to your LastPass account.

Ok, he did do the steps & he just told me today it didn't work.

I have only had that issues once or twice whereas he's had an issue for at least a year, probably longer.

So he thought it was fixed, but again he got the issue. 

It's not as often, but it's still there.

Hi @ReviveQuality,

 

Could you have them also check that their browser's autofill is not enabled as well? This can cause these issues, here's a guide that shows how to be sure only LastPass Autofill is enabled: https://support.logmeininc.com/lastpass/help/how-do-i-enable-or-disable-my-web-browsers-password-man...

Hi,

He doesn't use that auto fill.

The browser nor LP is using autofill. He does that intentionally.

He clicks the icon & tells it to fill that way.

That's when he often sees logins for other websites & I've had that problem too.
