Hi, I am on MacOS 11.2, Safari 14.0.3. Long time last pass user. Recently I have the following issues, both in Safari and in the QuickSearch from the Finder Top Menu bar, I only get a blank screen. LP still fills password and I can access the vault. But QuickSearch and Menu in Safari have become completely useless.
Thanks for the help.
Hello,
Apologies as I'm not sure what troubleshooting you've already tried, could you try uninstalling the LastPass mac app by quitting and dragging the app from your Applications folder to the Trash, restarting your computer, then reinstalling from here to see if you can then click & drag the quick search window to where you'd like it to be? https://lastpass.com/download/
For specific steps showing how to reinstall the LastPass mac app correctly please see here: https://support.logmeininc.com/lastpass/help/how-do-i-install-the-safari-app-extension-on-my-mac-lp0...
Hi I'm having the same problem and the steps outlined here did not rectify the problem. After uninstalling, restarting and reinstalling I still have only a white box for quick search and the safari extension.
What else could I do to fix the problem?
Wow ... this is really amazing (in a really bad way). The message board is full of reports of the blank white screen issues and this has been going on in various forms for a very long time. The reinstall does not solve the issue. This is happening for me like a plague on numerous computers.
Where is the fix? This makes the product very inconvenient if not real close to useless in the OS X environment.
I wiped my Mac and started fresh. I am still having this issue.
I agree. It looks like lastpass no longer supports Macs.
Or don't know how to! They're making a great case for looking into an alternative password manager.
