already for a while (earlier than the change of features in mid-March), I do have a problem with login into my LastPass Free. I do have the password and password hint - but still no luck.
There is always a note "Please review the information you entered and try again."
I have cleaned the cache and tried it on different browsers.
Also, I have tried the Account recovery options, but it always ends with a endlessly "spinning wheel".
I work mainly on a Mac Book Pro.
But on other devices is the same problem.
Any advice on how to solve this?
Generally the error message you're seeing means that either the username or master password is being entered incorrectly. Could you try logging in to https://lastpass.com/?ac=1 making sure your username is in all lowercase and that the master password is at least 12 characters long and a combination of upper and lower case letters, numbers and symbols? Please also be sure caps lock is not on as the master password is case sensitive.
I am also encountering this issue. Since Yesterday i am not longer able to login into account/vault. Now i know i have to re-verify my e-mail. To make it even worse i can' t because the login information is stored within my lastpass ( iknow how stupid this is, but to be honest i never thought of this...). So while i was in panic i resetted the password via the biometric feature. Still no success... So now my Question how am i supposed to verify myself if not via my fingerprint??? I mean i have enabled this feature while i was able to login into lastpass!!!
Btw. this is a newly created account because i can not login into my "original" one.
If you see an error that says "Review your login info and try again," when logging in please check your email (including Junk/Spam/All Mail folders) as you may need to verify this login via an email message, this doesn't necessarily mean that your master password is being entered incorrectly. Please note that changing your master password will not circumvent the need to verify this login via email. If you are not able to access your email, please go through the password reset process with your email provider to regain access to your email and verify the LastPass login.
