Hi,
this is how it should look like. The password is what you get in the email in xxxx-xxxx-xxxx form.
Please also note, that building up the connection on Android is a bit... different. The device does not complete the connection setup until some traffic goes from the device to the network.
In other words you open a browser on the device to any peer or ping a peer or similar to finish connection setup.
I hope this helps!
What happened? I have removed the mobile client and now I don't have the "Add Mobile" option available
"Add Client
Install LogMeIn Hamachi on this computer
(Learn more)
Deploy LogMeIn Hamachi to remote computer(s)
Continue Cancel"
Did I do something wrong?
You have to be on the Preview site (preview.logmein.com)
Ok, now I have redone the process following the latest tips and still no connection.
Is there any other changes I should make like in:
Connection protocol or Connection settings, before sending the "Send configuration via email to:"?
My setup is exactly as described above but I get the same message:
Connecting.... Disconnected
and "Not logged in yet" from the web.
Any other thoughts?
And also, in my account, on the clients list I have:
Nexus 4
123-775-298 with 25.125.175.250 as a virtual IP.
Am I missing something?
@pz: Thanks for the screenshots. So I now have certificates installed and the right config, but that last step you mentioned is a bit of a mystery. Attempts to ping my desktop PC through the virtual IP address set up in Hamachi fail to connect: "the network is unreachable". Still working at it . . .
I have tried the VPN setup on both my iPhone and iPad. Each time after I import the certs and the VPN is setup. I turn on the VPN and I receive the message "Negotiation with the VPN server failed." after about 45 seconds of showing the status "Starting...".
I checked the Last Login for each client and both show "Not logged in yet".

Having trouble here, two iOS devices.
iPhone 5 - fully up to date - error is "Negotiation with the VPN server failed."
iPad 3rd gen - fully up to date - error is "The VPN server did not respond."
I added the clients separately and created config files for each. The certificates installed successfully.
My Windows PC can connect without issue.
Any ideas?
Working beautifully here on a rooted Droid 3 running CyanogenMod 10.1 connected to four machines running Gentoo Linux. Only thing really missing now is IPv6 (and maybe a pretty little application that can autodetect the VPN setup and list my peers and their IPs for easy copying).
I am also getting the "Negotiation with the VPN server failed." when attempting to initiate VPN on an iPAD 3 with up to date iOS.
I did make sure to enter the password on the VPN entry in Settings.
Anyone figured this out yet?
