I have Hamachi running on a Server 2012 R2. Late last night Hamachi did an automatic update to v188.8.131.528. At the same time Event Viewer started logging errors because the static TCP/IPv4 address on the server had been removed. It appears that the Hamachi update caused the Network Bridge to be reset to defaults.
Luckily I was able to put the static IP back in along with the gateway and DNS and it is functioning correctly now.
I am posting this to find out if anyone else has had the same experience and also to help anyone who may have the same issue.
So sorry that happened to you! I'll reach out to dev to see if this is expected and do some testing on my end. Thank you for letting us know.
The same thing hapenned again today. Hamachi updated itself to version 184.108.40.2068. The IPV4 settings were put back to default settings effectively killing our network.
Is there a fix for this yet please?
Seems the issue is not fixed. I can't understand one thing. I disabled 'autoupdate' but somehow Hamachi client updates and (who could know) client's settings setts to default! Why is that!? I disabled autoupdate because it resets setting to default! Who can explain these two abnormalities: 1. client's update with disabled autoupdate. 2. resettings settings to default??
Having same issue on my server 2012 R2 and i am not able to run hemachi right now when ever i start hemachi my network goes down can you tell me what can i do in this case? please
