The solution works great and my download speed is back to normal, BUT I still have the same problem with my UPLOAD SPEED. Any news about how to fix UPLOAD SPEED too?
- xPriority5 years agoVisitor
I worked for me too, thanks a lot but the upload speed got cut in about half after I applied the netsh commands. If there is a fix for this asw please tell us, if not i guess we`ll just have to wait for the next update.
Thanks 🙂

But my Upload is still slow since i installed Hamachi, what can fix this?
- orlandson5 years agoNew ContributorHi everyone,
The solution works great for me and my download speed is back to normal, BUT I still have the same problem with my UPLOAD SPEED. Same as occurred with download speed after installing Hamachi the upload speed is down to half of normal speed.
I think there be similar CMD netsh commands to restore upload speed. Can you help me with this? - AshC5 years agoRetired GoTo Contributor
Hi everyone,
I apologize for the delays, and expect the next version to have native API calls instead of netsh background configurations. Until that time (as mentioned previously), you can run the following commands to resolve:
netsh int tcp set global autotuninglevel=normal
+netsh int tcp set global rss=enabled

This seems to be a bug (or feature?) that other people, including myself, have had. My Internet speed before installing is 200. After installing is 50. After UNINSTALLING is still 50. You have to manually un-do the changes made to your computer that Hamachi made.
Here is the solution:
This solution works for me. Internet went back to 200 after doing this.
I REALLY wish that LogMeIn support would chime in officially regarding this. I have not contacted them myself, but someone else in that thread did, and they reported that support would not acknowledge it.

Mate thx for the fix my internet in games was so bad I went from gigabit 0 ping to damm like 100 ping the last time this happened I had to reinstall everying from a factory reset this fix I'm gonna keep in a txt file if you don't mind
Style1 wrote:My cousing had been troubleshooting this for a few days and after starting to get involved in the troubleshooting the same problem occured on my main computer as well. There was no chance to increase the download above 1.3MBs (got 200/200 connection), unless downloading from a service that uses swarm tech (i.e Steam, Origin etc).
After backtracking we came back to Hamachi and this thread. We finally found the solution that worked for us. It seems installing Hamachin changes the TCP Global Parameters. To check/fix this, do the following:
SOLUTION:
Start -> Run -> CMD (as administrator to buypass the UAC)
then type the following command to show what parameters your current TCP has:
netsh interface tcp show global
This should give you a list over the TCP parameters, the ones Hamachi seems to change are these two:
Receive-Side Scaling State & Receive Window Auto-Tuning Level. Recieve-Side Scaling State was set to 'disabled' and Recieve Window Auto-Tuning Level was set to 'disabled'
Type the following commands in the CMD to change this:
netsh int tcp set global autotuninglevel=normal (Response should be OK.)
netsh int tcp set global rss=enabled (Response should be OK.)
Reboot shouldn't be needed after, but if you encounter problems do it. We didn't test Hamachi after this because we uninstalled it so I don't know how it works after this change.
I have no idea why Hamachi changes these parameters on some/all computers? When we checked other hosts in our network running the same OS without hamachi these parameters where unchanged and download speed OK.

Thank you so much. I was having so much trouble getting speeds of only 3 Mbps but this actually worked after I spent a few hours trying to figure out what it was and now I am getting a consistent 100 Mbps. You are a savior.

Hello, if you don't know how to do it i made a simple program for it here :
(LMI moderator removed the link to the file as it was flagged by our security team. Please use a service like https://pastebin.com/ to post your code and share it for transparency).
Oh and, this program is 100% safe if you want to see the code ill send it as well just ask for it, it's just simple batch.
Hope this works for you, best regards

How do I verify the changes

This really is the fix. Love you man!
I cannot believe that something malicious is still available to download. Logmein took hamachi and turned it into a strange looking virus and does not provide any support. I was that close to reinstall windows just because of that *** tool.
Just create a VPN with you routers guys. Never install this.

HOLY CRAP!, This actually solved my internet problems! I've been dealing with internet issues for months now. I would get speeds anywhare from 30 mbps to 200, while my acctual internet speed it about 500 mbps. I now get a solid 500 mbps.
Thank you so much, best regards

That did it. That fixed my VM that I am running it on. I am now getting the speeds I saw before installing Hamachi. Thank you for the help!!!

That workaround did not work for me.
- carlossgv6 years agoNew ContributorI found a way to keep Hamachi and maintain your internet speed while you are not using it.
Go to Services (Windows Search Bar: services.msc) and look up for LogMeIn Hamachi Tunneling Engine, disable it and restart the computer. It worked for me, if I need to use Hamachi again I'll enable it just for the time being. This way at least you won't have to format the OS.
Hope it helps! Is not the ultimate solution but it works. - carlossgv6 years agoNew Contributor

Co-worker and I have the exact same story. Installing Hamachi caps our speed at about 100mpbs. Uninstalling it does not fix anything. If we do a complete OS reset, it goes back to normal. Install Hamachi again and it gets capped.
LogMeIn support provided no assistance and said it wasn't their software when clearly it is. - ryoma6 years agoNew Contributor
That's weird. In my case, the steam origin had a normal down speed.
I've only experienced a slowdown in megacloud.
At this time, the only way to fix it is to restore the OS on Windows 10 itself. Sad news
If you only need to delete games and settings apps Try using a recovery method that only reinstalls os
It will not delete video files and portable file And it will tell you which apps you kindly deleted on your create htlml remove app desktop So just watch and reinstall the apps you deleted I think this is the only way I can tell you. - ryoma6 years agoNew Contributor
If you want to save some files You can only use Windows OS to initialize it. Keep the file but delete only the settings and os app. https://ckghwn.tistory.com/629 It's difficult because it's in Korean You can tell it roughly by explaining it with an image. I initialized os and saved the file through this method
Kindly, you will have an html called Removed App on your desktop. It's easy to reinstall while looking at it
If you have a graphics card driver, use a DDU It is recommended to remove and reinstall
