Why do I need the windows username and password?

i have been testing LMI pro and rescue.....they are both great products....but the one thing that is killing me with pro  is the fact that i have to ask the user for their username and password.  These are machines that are not in a domain.  These are random people and they should not be telling me their personal password.  Its uncomfortable and not professional for me to ask for it.  With every other product out there they dont do this, Teamviewer is a simple remote control program and they have the intelligence of putting in an ID number that the user must read to the technician.  This still gives you security without asking for someones personal password.  Or better yet, Rescue doesnt ask for anything.  The user simply goes to a website and downloads a tiny install and runs it.  No windows password needed.  I have searched the forums and find this is not an active topic.  I dont see how you have had this ridiculous feature for so long.  Clearly the user has downloaded the app and they are installing it for remote help.  Dont make me ask them for their password, especially when they dont know it 50% of the time.  Or if you insist on being "secure" generate a random numeric password.  I have to stick to teamviewer and VNC because you dont offer this feature.  Otherwise LMI is awesome!

Re: Why do I need the windows username and password?

It is a security measure.

This product is designed for Personal remote access to your own Business/Home computers.  If you are looking to support mulitple people, then you will need to get Rescue.
