How to disable registration form for webinar recording?
Hi, We've recently done a webinar (just a test really), and now I've managed to embed the recording on a landing page (publishing it first to GoToStage, which seems a bit superfluous...). This landing page is behind a registration form of our marketing automation platform. But the embed also asks for a registration to GTW just to watch it. I've already checked and my GoToStage account is not set to private. How can I disable this extra form?Solved1.9KViews1like4CommentsSee Poll Results as Presenter
Hi there, when i´m the presenter (not the organizer) and sharing my screen, why am i not able to see a poll? Or more important the poll result? It is necessary for my presenter to respond on the results but its not working, they can´t see the results. This Problem only occours on Windows machines by the way, when the presenter is using a mac it works fine! Is there any way to fix this problem? Thanks! I am having problems uploading a list of bulk registrants. I used the template from GoToWebinar, saved the file as a .csv and have tried uploading it 3 times. Each time it appears to go through, but then I receive an email message telling me there was a problem with the bulk registration. My company's email is tomorrow and I need to have these 1,000+ names added. The file is only 65 kb so I don't think it's too big. Working in Chrome, btw.Solved3.8KViews0likes11CommentsGoToWebinar support for screen readers
It's come to our attention that the gotowebinar platform controls are not coded with accessible function descriptions. This means that participants with visual impairments are being discriminated against because features that are available to the general public cannot be accessed by participants who use screen reader software due to the lack of proper labeling of each feature/control. This needs to be addressed as soon as possible because it's discriminatory towards individuals with visual impairments and prevents the platform from meeting federal accessibility requirements.2.2KViews0likes8CommentsCancelled Registration Issues
We host 2-3 webinars a week with GoTo. Over the last few weeks on each webinar there are some attendees who cannot get access because GoTo is advising their registration is cancelled when it is not. They have been approved and sent the link but the link they are receiving is broken. The only way we can rectify this at present is to have an additional staff member online checking attendee's links, cancelling the broken links and re-registering the attendee in order to issue a new link. This is becoming problematic, and I cannot get in contact with anyone from GoTo. I am hoping someone here has a resolution as it's effecting our business.1.2KViews0likes5CommentsPoll answer text error is confounding and frustrating
I am entering poll questions for doctors, who need to follow rigid and exact diagnostic nomenclature. I cannot paraphrase in order to satisfy software limitations. GoToWebinar will not let me set up the correct answer option. The answer text that needs to be an option choice is: KRAS c.34C>A p.Gly12Cys & KRAS c.35C>T, p.Gly12Asp The scenario demonstrates four separate issues that should be fixed in the product: 1) The error message is displayed for exactly 3 seconds and then disappears. This is a long and complex error to comprehend and I had to recreate the problem several times just to try and parse the message: "Enter answer text that doesn't include <, >, &, # or a backslash next to a number." 2) The poll as entered simply disappears. You can't go back to check it and edit the problem. You have to recreate the question and all answer choices from scratch. 3) If you go back and look at the answer choice I am entering, it does not have any of those special characters next to a number. So I don't even know what to alter! The error is not telling me the actual problem. I tried inserting spaces on either side of all brackets and ampersands, but that didn't fix it. Every special character has a letter on both sides of it. 4) This restriction is ridiculous on the face of it. It's 2022... let's accept text strings as entered by the user. I'm immensely frustrated, as I'm just randomly trying different things to see what the problem is, and then it still won't be acceptable, since the answer choice needs to be exactly as written.760Views0likes2CommentsFirefox Support
We have a customer, who complained about gotowebinar. User requirements: Firefox only without download. From this customer we learnt: 1. Firefox support insufficient This website confirms that Firefox does not support sound, when watched within the browser. This insufficient support is a bit surprising. Do you plan to change this? 2. Communication is insufficient When customers receive their invitation after registering, system requirements are provided. However, there is no mention of it that sound cannot be played. I find this for customers misleading.725Views0likes1CommentSuppressing trigger e-mails from customercare@gotowebinar.com
I have the following suggestion with regards to GoToWebinar trigger emails : Currently, it is only possible to suppress the email communication from customercare@gotowebinar.com for each unique webinar in the settings. It is not possible to do this on "a higher level" so that it is suppressed for all webinars at once (also for the ones which are being created in the future). This would be helpful!Solved1.5KViews0likes3Comments
