LMI is showing 4 monitors but only 2 are plugged in to host computer
Recently stumbled upon this issue. After signing in and selecting all monitors in the LMI options panel, it shows me 4 monitors but the host computer only has 2 monitors plugged in. It shows 2 generic non-pnp monitors and 2 generic pnp monitors. They look to just be mirrors of each other but the second monitor seems to operate separately. What could be the cause of this issue?2.4KViews1like6CommentsLMI AGENT INSTALL only
I am trying to install LMI agent to users devices through Intune, I am not sure whether any specific package is available just for the agent install (so helpdesk can remote into users computer) or is there some form of switch and process that I have to use in order to do this. Appreciate your response.1.2KViews0likes2CommentsHow to stop users from changing options like blank screen, printer, audio, etc
Hi there, we have around 40 clients on our small business Pro account. We routinely run into issues where a computer locks up but because the blank screen option was enabled on the users end, we are unable to troubleshoot the problem when physically at the workstation. I would like to know if there is a way to administrate what user accounts are able to change these settings, or if we will need to get Central on top of Pro to be able to lock controls like that. Thank you for any input.1.2KViews0likes1CommentUnable to connect to M1 Mac
I having an issue with a new setup on a M1 Mac Mini (running 12.5) and LogMeIn Central. I've installed the host program on the Mac, but I'm unable to connect after a reboot. Once someone has logged into the computer, then LogMeIn is available. As far as I can tell, LogMeIn is set up to start running on boot. Has anyone else experienced something similar? My first thought was the firewall, but I've turned this off for testing and this behavior persists.Solved2KViews0likes2CommentsCan connect from outside firewall to inside but not other way around
Small business. Can connect from their remote computers to their biz desktops through the Sonicwall. But, they cannot connect from their business desktops to their remote computers. Nor can they connect to another computer on the local network using logmein, since I believe it must go through the firewall for this to work properly (not the most efficient). Any thoughts?818Views0likes1CommentUsing Windows 10 Virtual Desktop to create multiple monitors
Hello, I would like to use Windows 10 Virtual Desktop to create multiple monitors during my LogMeIn session. Ideally, I want a "headless" setup whereby I can leave the desktop in a remote location and not connect extra peripherals. Any idea how to do this?700Views0likes0CommentsLast Booted
When I connect to a machine and login before opening the remote desktop it shows a bunch of stats one of them is Last Booted and shows the time in either days, hours or minutes since the laptop was last booted. I have been talking to some users that swear they shutdown the laptop every night yet it shows Last Booted as days ago. Does this stat only track from when the user selects reboot and doesn't update if the person selected Shutdown? To me it seems like that should get updated to last time the computer completely shuts down and then is started again not just when restarted is selected from the Start Menu or are users just not waiting long enough for the laptop to shutdown properly?796Views0likes0Comments
