Your session may have timed out or the host may have gone offline
The error occurs after opening the dashboard of the remote host using the logmein client software, then trying a remote connection from the dashboard. The remote host says it is in session however when trying to remote I receive the error "Your session may have timed out or the host may have gone offline. Please try again." and offers Reconnect or Close options. The reconnect button causes the same error. It appears to be a problem when first accessing the dashboard. After speaking with phone support they recommend restarting the remote machine, which can't be done until the client is back on site, defeating the purpose of having remote access. I have had this same issue with multiple remote hosts, running different operating systems. Any other solutions? Besides switching remote software providers.Solved16KViews1like26CommentsWindows OS Version and Build Number in LogMeIn Central
Is there a way of displaying the detailed Windows OS version AND build information in LogMeIn Central? As there have been, multiple versions of Windows 10 released it would allow us to identify which need attention to install the latest version on an ongoing basis.11KViews1like51CommentsMouse cursor not reflecting tool that is being used
I am using logmein on a Mac laptop and at the moment I am having some issues with my mouse. The cursor does not change to reflect the tool I am using, e.g.: while working on photoshop, revit or writing text, the pointer is always the same. Another issue is the that the mouse cursor does not show up during a webex when I am sharing my screen. Any ideas? Thanks!Solved5.9KViews0likes6CommentsClearType Text Disabled? - Blocky/Unclear Text
Question: It seems like LogMeIn somehow disables ClearType text in the Windows host. Is there a way to get it to stop doing that? Background and Testing: I have always noticed that text viewed through a LogMeIn remote session have seemed less clear/smooth than directly viewing the host's physical monitor. Historically I chalked this up to compression. Now that we have all of our users working remotely, I have been getting complaints. Through a bunch of testing, I found that most things are pretty clear when the network connection is good, the color quality is set to HD, and the host and remote computer resolutions are matched. An array of single-pixel-wide lines come through clearly without noticeable distortion. But portions of characters that may be less than a full pixel in size comes through as blocky and/or lacking clarity. I tried all variations of settings that are available (network, color, resolution), and nothing improved this issue. I tried with the display accelerator enabled and disabled, but it didn't change. I could not find that LogMeIn offers an option like "font smoothing" or similar like some other products do. I somewhat randomly checked the Windows ClearType Text settings on the host computer, and found that ClearType was disabled. But it is enabled by default, and I know for sure that I did not disable it. So it seems that LogMeIn automatically disabled it. Is there a setting/method that will cause this to stop?4.8KViews1like8CommentsSlow Windows boot

Good morning, I don't know how to recover a file that LmiAV has deleted. Thanks for reply.3.5KViews0likes4CommentsHow to re-download and reinstall the Logmein host after a computer crash?
I need to reinstall the Logmein Host on one of my computers that recently crashed and needed full reinstallation. However redownloading the host to my PC is not working out, when logging in, it want me to upgrade my subscription to add the computer to Logmein though I just want to reinstall same PC (Stick-PC in my account) and not actually add an extra PC. And yes, the crash took away the originial download file, that might have worked. Also, if I try to generate a new download link for my computer, it is refused because an upgrade of the subscription is needed. I even deleted an old PC from my account, no longer used, but it didn't help. I was careful not to delete the actual PC from the account until I am sure it is necessary, still I have one less PC on my account so it should have worked. My subscription plan is the one following the excpencive one time payed iOS Logme Ignition client app, not the PC plan btw if there is question about licencing. Meaning I remote control only from Ipad, not from PC. Regards Thomas Henden.3.2KViews0likes5CommentsI cannot access LogMeIn preferences on MacOS
