LogMeIn. For over 20 years it’s been a trusted name in IT. Recognized for innovation, reliability, and going the extra mile. What started as a simple way to remotely access computers has grown into an industry-leading IT management and business communication company now known as GoTo.

When we rebranded the company from LogMeIn to GoTo in 2022, our goal was to simplify a complex product lineup under one new umbrella brand. Fast forward three years, and our IT portfolio has grown bigger and even better with ever-evolving product innovation for GoTo Resolve and Rescue, and new products like our mobile device management (MDM) solution, Miradore. But one thing is clear, the LogMeIn name still resonates.

Our customers, partners, and industry experts still associate “LogMeIn” with the top IT management and support tools. When asked what products they trust most for IT support and management, many simply respond with “LogMeIn”.

What’s New

Today, we’re happy to announce that we’re officially bringing our IT product family back under the LogMeIn name. Why? Because it simplifies how we present our two core product families and ties nicely into the future of our products.

Our company name is still GoTo. But from here on out, you’ll see our IT solutions under the LogMeIn banner and our cloud communications solutions under GoTo Connect. That means GoTo Resolve is now LogMeIn Resolve, and our MDM products will be known as LogMeIn Miradore, alongside LogMeIn Rescue, LogMeIn Central, and LogMeIn Pro.

Familiar Name, Fresh Brand and New Web Experience

While the LogMeIn name is familiar, you’ll be introduced to an updated brand and web experience. These updates complement our innovative product portfolios and help IT teams stay ahead of today's security demands.

We’re doubling down on the reliability and ingenuity the LogMeIn name has always stood for while delivering world-class IT management and support solutions. The names have evolved but our commitment to customers remains the same. We’re proud to offer an IT portfolio that’s:

    LogMeIn rebrand - Frequently asked questions

    GoTo is reintroducing the LogMeIn name for its IT product portfolio, which includes trusted solutions like LogMeIn Rescue, LogMeIn Resolve, and LogMeIn Central, among others.

    While GoTo continues to serve as the company name, the LogMeIn brand will now represent the company's IT solutions, which are designed to simplify IT management, enhance security, and meet the evolving needs of businesses. This change underscores the company's commitment to delivering user-friendly, value-driven, and reliable tools that help businesses stay ahead in the fast-changing world of IT.

    What is happening with GoTo and LogMeIn?

    GoTo is rebranding its portfolio of unified endpoint management and remote support products to LogMeIn to better align with GoTo's IT products' multi-year strategy, which has evolved since the GoTo corporate rebrand in February 2022. We saw an opportunity to rebrand the portfolio that leverages the strong brand equity and customer trust in LogMeIn. This change creates stronger, unified branding and strategy alignment across our IT products using a modernized version of the well-known and respected LogMeIn brand.

    What is changing with this rebrand effort?

    The two biggest changes are bringing the GoTo Resolve product under the LogMeIn portfolio umbrella and launching a new consolidated website with logmein.com. By having our industry-leading remote access and management solutions within one portfolio, we believe it provides prospects, customers, and partners an easier avenue to understand and unlock the value of our solutions.

    What is not changing with this rebrand effort?

    As for what is not changing, first and foremost we are not changing the name of the company nor are we changing the functionality and capabilities of any of our products as part of this rebrand effort. We, of course, continue to innovate, and we'll update our products regularly. And, aside from small changes to the login experience for our Resolve product, there should be minimal impact on our customers and partners.

    What is the timing of the changes?

    On January 28, 2025 the new branding and product naming will go into effect. This will be reflected in the new and exciting logmein.com website as well as in additional marketing and customer assets.

    Is anything changing within the products themselves?

    There are no immediate changes to product functionality or capabilities with this activity. During and after the launch, the only changes customers should expect to our products are modest brand and logo updates within the user interface.

    • The GoTo Resolve product will be updated to reflect the new LogMeIn Resolve brand, including logo and text string updates. The console URL for Resolve will not change.
    • Rescue's refreshed logo will be updated in the Web Technician Console and login page.
    • Mobile applications for both products will be refreshed to reflect the new branding, including icons and product naming.

    Important: These in-product changes will not affect the existing customer experience. All prior functionality and capabilities remain the same.

    Will I need to take any actions to continue using my products?

    Generally, no. Customers and partners do not need to take any action to continue using these products. In the case of GoTo Resolve, certain customers may need to change their login bookmarks or allowlist the Logmein.com domain for easy access to the products. Otherwise, there are no other changes.

    Are there any changes in the process for logging into these products?

    For the most part there should be no changes for people signing in to their products. However, users of our Resolve products may need to bookmark or provide allowlist designation for login URL. Other processes will not change.

    Will customers need to update their allowlist settings?

    Yes, but only for GoTo Resolve customers who currently log in from the GoTo.com website. From launch, GoTo.com/Resolve will redirect to LogMeIn.com/Resolve, so users will need to ensure this domain is on their allowlist.

    Are any entity names changing?

    No, entity names are not changing with this activity.

    Is the credit card charge name changing?

    No, the name and company on credit card charges and invoicing will continue to come from GoTo.

    Is anything changing with customer invoices?

    Generally, no. Invoices for our LogMeIn products will continue to be delivered from GoTo. Over time, the product name on the invoice will change, but nothing else.

    Are there changes to prices on the products?

    No, there are no changes to any pricing or terms for these products.

    Will there be any changes to my contract?

    No, there are no changes to existing contracts.

    Is anything changing with our W-9s or vendor forms?

    No, there are no changes to W-9 or other vendor forms required.

    Will I need to perform any manual updates to see branding changes in my product(s)?

    No, brand and logo changes within the product will happen automatically.

    Where can I go to stay up to date on changes related to GoTo products?

    We encourage all interested parties to utilize our GoTo Community resources for getting information on any additional changes and ongoing communications.

    Are there future changes I should expect with Rescue, Resolve, and other products?

    We continue to invest heavily in our innovation, and continually update our products. We will communicate changes and future roadmaps as appropriate.
