Rescue Unattended - End User Permission Prompt
New feature!!
The new feature "Unattended Permission Prompt" has been released for the Desktop Tech Console. An interactive message can now be displayed to end users in the event of an incoming Unattended Access session.
Use case: The end-user should be notified of any incoming Unattended Access session, and has the ability to accept or deny the connection.
The permission prompt ensures that the end-user's privacy is protected, they remain in control of their data, and they understand why the Unattended Device is requesting access, building trust and transparency. Please note: If no end-user is logged into the Unattended Device, the session proceeds as normal.
Implementation:
- Unattended Access Dashboard - Master Admins have the ability to set any device to "Require end-user permission" via individual action or bulk selection. The permission can be locked to prevent others from changing it back.
- Tech Console - New option added to deploy Unattended with access permission.
- Unattended Package Wizard - New option to create an .msi package with access permission.
Please note: if you do not see an Unattended Access Dashboard, please reach out to your CSM or support to enable on the backend.
