How to try out the Rescue WebTC:

Supported Session Types

  • Ad-hoc sessions: Core functionality enabling agents to remotely access an end-user's computer through an applet.
  • Unattended sessions: The technician can connect to the remote computer even if the end-user is away. The unattended access can be set up for a specific time and must be approved by the end-user.
  • Calling card support
  • Channel support

In-session Features:

  • Remote view: An agent can connect to the end-user’s computer and can see their screen. This solution doesn't allow for more complex functionalities (e.g., file management), but in many cases, there's no need for more features when utilizing remote view.
  • Remote control: In the case of remote control, downloading an applet is necessary, providing much broader access to the user's computer, even for executing system-level operations.
  • Chat interface:  Chat is a heavily used feature and an important part of a smooth session.
  • Auto start incoming sessions

User Interface:

  • Dark and light mode

Helpful Tips:

  • Applet and Calling card version must be the latest (over 7.50+ )
  • WebTC automatically appears in the list on the “My account" page
  • No additional license needed
  • Technicians can switch from WebTC to Desktop App
