held down keystrokes not sending

I have an issue with keystrokes. Normal single keystrokes send through to the remote PC ok, but when I hold down a key (such as backspace) it only registers as a single keystroke. How can I get LogMeIn client to send through held-down keystrokes like this?

UPDATE - Found out this was not a logmein issue - turned off filter keys
