Reporting not right

When I run an Activity and Usage report it seems correct for some users, not at all even close for others.  I have a user that I know has been working all day, but the report only shows she was working for minutes.  Right now this is really important as my clients want to see how long an employee is actually logging in and working on their workstation from home.
