Security hole since account renewal - per-user setting required for access control

Since recent renewal of our central account, we have inherited the ability to remotly access the file system and command prompt of the remote machine - whilst one one hand these may be usefull features, they create us a massive security problem.

Our remote users, customers and technicians now have access to the file system of the machine which they did not before and they are locked out of totally when accessing in the machine in person.

Out remote machines host catalogues of music, karaoke, music video, graphics templates and footage which are all copyright protected and protecting them is what brings the core value to our business.

We urgently need to stop either everyone or ideally selected users or user groups from accessing the File system and command prompt interface on the remote machine.

After contacting support it appears this feature has been introduces without any may to restrict or manage it.
