Can you please provide more details?
- Is this Server 2003 r2 server 32 bit or 64 bit?
- What exactly happens when you try to connect now, is there an error message?
- Were any changes made to the server recently?
2003 R2 service pack 2 32bit system. The app shows enabled but offline and on the central interface shows offline. This is happening on multiple old servers on the same version. The network is active, nothing changed on the server.
Thank you. I believe this is happening because we no longer allow connections using TLS 1.0 and 1.1 as they are no longer considered secure.
If you have Internet Explorer 11 installed on these servers you should be able to open its Settings and enable TLS 1.2After consulting with Support, TLS 1.2 (or 1.3) may not be possible on Server 2003, an upgrade to Windows Server 2008 R2 may be required.
This is very disappointing. I also manage a Server 2003 machine. I've been searching around for days until I found this thread.
