I've had a ticket open for a couple of weeks with a similar situation, where a mispelling occurred in setting up the user (not agent) and if you try to delete it and add it back, you seem to never be able to actually delete it (it just goes to "deactivated") and there's no way to change that, and you can't add back the correct name because it already exists. But you can no longer use the existing name because it's deactivated.
