Triggers need to allow for more actions

Triggers are very limited in what they can do.
We would love for the functionality to be expanded to trigger activities outside of the current ticket. For example:
-trigger the use of a template for a newly created ticket
-Create new tickets from an existing ticket
-Send reports -And send those reports to a specific non user/customer email address
-update time based activities
