User & Customer Portal FLAT DESIGN
Email notifications from the Service Desk have the flat design why not update the UI(s) for the User and Customer Portal to also be Flat design? GoToMeeting has it as well for the web app and desktop app. The UX is largely driven by the UI and that's what makes a product pleasant and exiting use.

- Bcshay11 years agoActive ContributorI assume this is a per admin global setting. Will all Users see this?
- Luke Grimstrup11 years agoRetired GoTo ContributorHi Jason,
Yes - the customizable dashboard does play nicer with the new look. As both features are in development at the same time and reflective of where we want to head in the future, its recommended to use both in conjunction with the new look. - jason111111 years agoActive ContributorActually just tested the view side by side. I have used closed tickets as an example since I have more on the screen in this view but it's the same on open tickets as well.
On my 24" monitor, you get 12 visible tickets with the new layout vs 26 in current view. That's quite a lot.
Take a look (click to enlarge) - jason111111 years agoActive ContributorAgreed, having to scroll when previously it was all within one page isn't so good. Hopefully this will be addressed as it's still beta I guess.

- jason111111 years agoActive ContributorLike the look but prefer the compact spacing between incidents on the dashboard in the current version.
Love the ability to customise the columns on the incident dashboard but since I can't have this active without the new look and large spacing I have to do without it. - jason111111 years agoActive ContributorOk I discovered that it's actually the 'Customize the columns visible in the incident dashboard' that messes up the incident dashboard. If that and new look is enabled it's ok, but if new look is disabled the incident board has spacing / cell padding issues. See example:
- jason111111 years agoActive ContributorArrgeh I switched the new look on to see what it was like. I didn't like the line spacing between incidents, I prever the compact view so switched it back off again but the line spacing in the incident dashboard has not reverted back and is in fact corrupt.
How can I completely revert back to legacy view?
