User & Customer Portal FLAT DESIGN
Email notifications from the Service Desk have the flat design why not update the UI(s) for the User and Customer Portal to also be Flat design? GoToMeeting has it as well for the web app and desktop app. The UX is largely driven by the UI and that's what makes a product pleasant and exiting use.

- jason111111 years agoActive ContributorSure thing Luke, happy to chat it over more. I have had the new look on but I don't think you're going to convince me that it's more productive. I can't see how having to scroll to view tickets beats seeing them all at a glance.

- Luke Grimstrup11 years agoRetired GoTo ContributorAt this stage - it's unlikely the spacing will change too much. The aim of the modern look and feel is to make it easier to focus on key tasks, to get things done quicker and easier.

I can't tell you enough how much I value the ability to customise the incident screen columns, it's just a shame it can't be used with the current look. Is the spacing thing something you're likely to change in the new look?
- Luke Grimstrup11 years agoRetired GoTo ContributorReally appreciate the feedback, and is the main reason why such a big change is a Labs Feature before we roll this out to everyone. The new look and is in active development and all feedback is being taken into consideration at the moment.
