Your audience should stay connected for at least 5 minutes if your internet suddently fails. You did the right thing making other audience members co-organizers, and this is a good practice as long as you are rejoining the same meeting again and not starting a new one instead. Do you recall if you were connected to the telephone audio or VoIP audio at the time?

I conected to the VOIP, but I did some tests and I understood that organizers are different that co-organizer.
