"Use the new GoTo option" doesn't work.
In my account the "Use the new GoTo option" always downloads the GoTo app. There is no difference between the option active or deactivated, the downloaded app is always the same. How can I download the old desktop application?SolvedCorrado12 days agoNew Member23Views0likes1CommentCo Organize Field missing
Hi community, we have a small problem after updating our GoTo Meeting licenses. When we now create a new meeting we are not able to add a co Organizer, because the requiered field is missing. We are still using GoTo Meeting Business without the Audio addon function. What we have instead is a drop down menu with a bunch of additonal features, but no co-Organizer. Help would be very appriciate as we checked all settings several time without success. Thanks much in advance Rogerrhaas2 days agoActive Contributor75Views0likes6CommentsScreen Sharing Pause Functionality
On the old app, it was easy to pause your screen, switch back and forth to different screens/apps to share, without attendees seeing what you're doing. Now, with the new app, when you click pause screen, it often times minimizes your window (Keynote on Macbook for example) and your screen continues to share. It looks sloppy by showing behind the scenes and was never like this with the old version. Multiple co-workers are experiencing this every day. Please fix!tony19897 days agoNew Member15Views0likes1CommentHelp: GoTo saving local recordings despite settings
"Save recordings in the cloud" is marked in my settings, which is working fine. But it is also saving recordings locally on my computer in my Documents folder. What's up with that? This never happened for years that I've used GoToMeeting before. It is only a recent issue. Also can I take the opportunity to state it is quite a bizarre decision for videos to be saved to the "Documents" folder, when most OS have a built-in "Videos" folder. The old GoToMeeting app allowed a choice of where videos were saved, if I recall correctly. Sadly another feature missing in the new GoTo app. Side note: The https://community.logmein.com/notifications endpoint seems to be broken (loads then fails with errors: "TypeError: Cannot destructure property 'uid' of 'e' as it is undefined.")SolvedLaisre8 days agoActive Contributor33Views0likes3CommentsMissing Feature - Remote Control Everyone
I've already complained about this feature being missing on the new go to meeting app about a month ago and am waiting for this simple feature to be re-added. Will keep updating this post. Here's a screenshot from the old GTM.GTMFeedBack39 days agoActive Contributor20Views0likes1CommentScreenshare works but keyboard and mouse don't
Every single gotomeeting we have tried to use since Friday Sept 27th we have not been able to take control of the customer's PC. We can see the screen but not take control. We have tested in house and on Win 11 on both side and have the same issue. Can we get some support as to why and when a patch can be made available. I suspect we cannot be the only ones with this issue since the forced update. But any assistance would be great.remoteassist19 days agoNew Member23Views1like1CommentCannot screen share an announcement
Before the last "upgrade", if I had a last-minute announcement to our attendees, I could simply create one and put on my desktop, then share my desktop. I seem to have lost that ability. Am I missing some new widget to make this happen?SolvedGBNgal12 days agoActive Contributor50Views0likes4CommentsNew GoTo Feature Lost - Presenter's Preview Window
My team is struggling with the loss of the thumbnail preview window for the presenter. Formerly, as a presenter, you could see what you were presenting on screen, application only or full desktop, instead of just guessing/hoping you are only sharing what is intended! I need to ensure I am not sharing sensitive windows, and the new interface (forced to the web) does not allow this. Please bring this back!Jana Stockwell13 days agoActive Contributor23Views2likes1CommentFinally forced to the new GTM. Absolutely looking for an alternative, b/c it's worse in every way.
Where do I start? Using GTM now forces a trip through a browser for some reason. I have no idea who thought this was a good idea, because it's awkward and silly. Previously, GTM was just an application I'd run to start my meetings. How is this better? The "new" GTM is a serious screen hog, and has absolutely no respect for the need of a user to see OTHER things on the screen besides GTM. Again, who thought this was a good idea? Remote control of other attendee desktops/apps is now badly broken. This was a KEY part of how we've used GTM for over a decade. Candidly, if Teams is doing a better job than you at this, I'm not sure why we pay for you. Countless needless interface tweaks make the tool harder to use. I'm sure some sales drone or apologist will tell me you've done "research," but if it takes MORE clicks and MORE hunting to find features now than it did in the old version, the new version is therefore WORSE for me. How do I use the old version? Because if I can't, maybe I'm not going to use ANY version.Solvedchet113 days agoActive Contributor1.2KViews3likes8Comments
