Cannot take any Remote Control
Hi, Since the switch the the 'new' desktop app a few months ago, things have been bad. But they have been really bad the last two days. No matter what happens, I cannot take Remote Control of attendee computers. They share their screen and they click Control and grant me access. I receive the popup that I have been given access and I click to take remote control. And then it just doesnt work. This has happened several times with several different attendees located in different states. I am basically at my wits end with GoToMeeting at this point. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Deactivate automatic noise cancellation
In the old Version of GoToMeeting, there was a button to deactive the automatic noise cancellation. In the current version the button got "replaced" with another button to deactivate the automatic volume control, but there is no longer the possibility to deactivate the noise cancellation. Is it possible for the development team to re-implement this button? Thank you very much in advance! HJKgotomeeting UI changed?
So I started a goto yesterday and the whole interface has changed and certainly not for the better. I've been using goto since 2008, or there about, and the best thing about it was that we could draw during the meetings, but with the new interface drawing tools are nowhere to be found. What's most baffling about all this is that during all this time goto has done NOTHING to enhance the only thing that keeps me using it, no improvements to drawing, like circle, straight line, note clouds, being able to erase small areas instead of "all", etc etc etc. So can anyone tell me where they have hidden the drawing tools in the new interface? The program is worthless without being able to draw.
Screen Sharing Pause Functionality
On the old app, it was easy to pause your screen, switch back and forth to different screens/apps to share, without attendees seeing what you're doing. Now, with the new app, when you click pause screen, it often times minimizes your window (Keynote on Macbook for example) and your screen continues to share. It looks sloppy by showing behind the scenes and was never like this with the old version. Multiple co-workers are experiencing this every day. Every single gotomeeting we have tried to use since Friday Sept 27th we have not been able to take control of the customer's PC. We can see the screen but not take control. We have tested in house and on Win 11 on both side and have the same issue. Can we get some support as to why and when a patch can be made available. I suspect we cannot be the only ones with this issue since the forced update. But any assistance would be great.
