Co Organize Field missing
Hi community, we have a small problem after updating our GoTo Meeting licenses. When we now create a new meeting we are not able to add a co Organizer, because the requiered field is missing. We are still using GoTo Meeting Business without the Audio addon function. What we have instead is a drop down menu with a bunch of additonal features, but no co-Organizer. Help would be very appriciate as we checked all settings several time without success. Thanks much in advance Roger
Screen Sharing Pause Functionality
On the old app, it was easy to pause your screen, switch back and forth to different screens/apps to share, without attendees seeing what you're doing. Now, with the new app, when you click pause screen, it often times minimizes your window (Keynote on Macbook for example) and your screen continues to share. It looks sloppy by showing behind the scenes and was never like this with the old version. Multiple co-workers are experiencing this every day. Every single gotomeeting we have tried to use since Friday Sept 27th we have not been able to take control of the customer's PC. We can see the screen but not take control. We have tested in house and on Win 11 on both side and have the same issue. Can we get some support as to why and when a patch can be made available. I suspect we cannot be the only ones with this issue since the forced update. But any assistance would be great.New GoTo Feature Lost - Presenter's Preview Window
My team is struggling with the loss of the thumbnail preview window for the presenter. Formerly, as a presenter, you could see what you were presenting on screen, application only or full desktop, instead of just guessing/hoping you are only sharing what is intended! I need to ensure I am not sharing sensitive windows, and the new interface (forced to the web) does not allow this. Please bring this back!
Videos not saving to the cloud
My recorded videos used to say to the cloud and I could find them in my documents folder. At some point I was signed out of OneDrive and I think that stopped the videos from saving in the folder. I am signed back in and have resumed recording calls like before, but now my videos are not downloading to the documents folder. What might the reason be that they aren't saving there anymore? It's pretty important for me as I record meetings multiple times a day and they are saved with date and client name for easy organization and moving to other folders. Downloading from the app is tedious and doesnt save with the date and client name.
powerpoint presenter view sharing issue
I have been a GoTo customer for 10 years. This is a new issue. When I share a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation on a GoTo Meeting, it does not share the "slideshow view". Instead, it shares the normal powerpoint view only (essentially what you see when you're editing a powerpoint). This feels like a massive oversight from GoTo, maybe as a result of a compatability incongruency between the two platforms? It would be very helpful if someone from the GoTo engineering team reviewed this question and provided an update, as I'm sure others are dealing with this. I never have similar issues with Zoom or Teams
How to attach a file during a meeting
In 2013 there was a long thread about being able to attach a file to provide to an attendee within the current session. It was not an available feature at that time. It's been 11 year so I assume its there by now? I am using Join.Me (owned by GoTo). The website says " ALL features in Join.Me are in GoTo Meeting plus these ..." Being able to offer an attendee a file for them to download as needed. (See image from Join.Me). I'm not able to find that feature. Can anyone help?Which app for Intuitive Dance Online?
Hi. I would ask about which app is the best for Intuitive Dancing Online? I would like to make a session where the participants can see each other but mainly me and music will be playing straight from a computer (for example Spotify) and the quality of music (sound) is very important. Host’s internet connection affects all attendees?
If I am logged in as the host, what happens if my internet goes down for a short time? Will the meeting end for everyone? Same question about me recording the mtg. If my internet briefly goes down, will the recording also stop for that period of time?
Outlook Add-In for Outlook 2021
We have been using GotoMeeting for many years. I am the one that always schedules the meeting and sends it to the attendees. My question is, how do I know that I have the latest release of the add-in? GotoMeeting has changed over the past months, but I don't see any apparent changes when I create meetings though my Outlook add-in. Thanks for the help. New App Version
Hello, Today i was forced into the upgrade of the new NIGHTMARE version. Why do we need to fix something that's not broken. I stream live stock market charts, and my attendees complained the charts were blurry, it would phase in and out of being clear. Old version was perfect. I gave someone mouse control and the cursor would get stuck at points. Thankfully Support reverted me back to the old version. Please keep the old version Alive MTDrawing tools
I have found previous discussions, but I have not found a solution. As of today, Sept 9, 2024, our GoToMeeting Desktop program changed and we no longer have shared drawing tools. The presenter can draw, but others can not. In our design world, this makes GoToMeeting pretty close to worthless. Remote control of the other's mouse/keyboard is not a solution for removing the drawing tools. We have used GoToMeeting since 2007 and this omission is disappointing (not the word we have used as we have been pulling our hair out today trying to work, but since this a public forum, I am trying to be polite).design flaws for allowing permission to use microphone that causes constant audio problems
Daniel was very knowlegable. However it's the design flaws for allowing permission to use microphone that causes constant audio problems. You need to make this MUCH larger so it can't be avoided. Also your goto browser version cannot be seen full screen and there's no options for attendees who cannot download the app for corporate security. We tested this and it's impossible to get a full screen with browser version. More and more companies are now restricted from downloading apps and can only use the browser which causes the screen to be much smaller and hard on the eyes to me navigate and the information! This does not happen with Teams or Google Meet browser versions.What is the GoTo Insiders Program?

Cannot edit names of participants on the phone
When attendees call on phone, it shows as Caller 01; Caller 02 etc. There is an option which says edit names but when I click it does not open a dialogue box. This edit feature was available in the classic Gotomeeting app. Now I have to manually make a note of who is caller 01, 02 in my note book and try and remember, which is one more problem with your new app. I would like to revert to the old classic gotomeeting app until such time that you make the new app user friendly., Our old email was stmserviam@gmail.comwhich we were subscribing to since 2020 May. About 6 months ago or may be prior to that, we had informed by email the higher ups that this was the problem with the new app and they allowed us to use the classic version. The reps that tried to help us tried their best. I am using a Mac laptop
Default when opening account on new device
When logging into goto on a new computer, I spent 30 minutes trying to figure out why I could not see my meetings, upcoming or past. I had my old laptop and my new one side by side, using the same OS, and browser version, and it was baffling me. Turns out you have to click the filters and select 'Show All'. I think that should be the default.Attendees must join through the desktop app to give remote control
Remote control under the old GoToMeeting was SO EASY. Now it is SO HARD! It looks like progress was made, and I actually (after holding my breath) was able to do some remote controlling. Now I'm mostly told "Remote control is only available if presenters use the desktop app" when I hover over the "Control" icon. But I'm sure the presenter IS using the desktop app (and not the browser). I see the GoToMeeting app icon in their task bar. Please, please, make this as easy as it used to be - once and for all. Then don't change it! Thanks!
