issues registering a secondary # for SMS

Hello - first time messaging in this community. I had tried - to no avail - contacting support within grasshopper but AI kept providing the same unhelpful response both on the phone and from my account.

I have been a client with grasshopper for a decade now and had no issues registering my business # for SMS a couple years ago. I've just bought another # for a new location and continually encountering issue after issue trying to register this number so that clients can message us and we can message them back.

Honestly, this new system is beyond excessive and really frustrating. We have followed every bit of feedback we've received - privacy policy, opt out, etc. even though the SMS is merely for clients to send us a direct message. It has been over a week now and still no approval. It's impossible to speak with another human being - all assistance seems to be provided by a useless bot. I've read a few threads on reddit and I"m not the only person encountering this issue. 

Can someone please help???

    I apologize for the frustration and our support team will be contacting you to assist. Unfortunately, the SMS registration approval is not in our direct control and can be complicated.
