Failed to log in to web gateway - Not accessible - offline

Was hoping to take advantage of the emergency kit given the current state of play, but I can't even get logmein to show as online - check the event logs and the failed to login to web gateway is a constant - anybody know what i need to be looking at to get beyond that point?
