Macos version el Capitan

I have an old macbook that still runs on El Capitan, version 10.11, so any suggestions how to get it to work?

IngridHeerkens  Customer Support may need to manually enable the right version, though I'm uncertain if we still support El Capitan fully, so there may be some issues.
