Technician Console: "Start Console communication error. Error code (7), Last error (0)."

This or very similar errors can occur when there are missing or dysfunctional Technician Console network communications dependencies.  In our case, we experienced this issue with versions v7.12.3379...

    With the release of Rescue v7.52 we introduced the web console as a replacement.

The Technician Console error seems linked to missing Internet Explorer erome didn't work properly without it.

      Yes.  I have used the web console.  I was pleased to see it - a step in the right direction, IMHO.  But the web console still lacks some features (last I used it), misbehaves with some browsers (Firefox), and is still pretty slow by comparison to the TC.  Still, it's very nice to have as a backup.
