Is LogMeIn FIPS-2 compliant?
Does the encryption LogMeIn uses meet the FIPS-2 standard?
We are going through a CJIS audit and need to show when CJI information is transmitted from outside the building need to be FIPS-2 Complaint with the FBI.
Hi JCDT, welcome to the community.
We use AES 256 encryption which I believe meets the FIPS-2 requirements, but you should check to confirm. This support article includes more details about our security: What security information is available?

No, just having AES-256 is not enough to meet the full FIPS 140-2 requirements. While AES-256 is an approved algorithm under FIPS 197 (which is referenced by FIPS 140-2), FIPS 140-2 is a broader standard that defines specific requirements for cryptographic modules (hardware or software solutions) that implement cryptography, including AES-256.
