KateGThe article you've attached is the very reason why people are asking for updates. Kexts are no longer recommended for macOS applications and leave irremediable vulnerabilities on company's macOS endpoints. The existing .pkg that LogMeIn has supplied for macOS deployment notes this vulnerability on every install and calls on the developer to update their application. The LogMeIn JAMF deployment guide, even when followed to a T, does not work on recent major macOS versions. The guide predates this thread.
There has been several claims to when there will be a mass-deployment installer for LogMeIn on macOS endpoints:
"We do not have a way to install Central en-masse for Mac Os, but it is in the roadmap for Q4." (2021)
"Unfortunately, we have had to move this to 2023 for release. There was some unexpected development work that needed to be done and we do not want to release an update too close to the Xmas break. We will post an update in January 2023." (2022)
"Hi, the release date has been pushed back a little, but it is still planned for this year." (2023)
Can we get an actual timeline of when we can expect this? Or is this going to keep getting pushed year after year?
