Screen Blanking not working after Windows 10 2004
Microsoft has pushed out Windows 10 2004 to my workstations in our office and now screen blanking no longer works.
My employee's are working remotely and rely on screen blanking for privacy. My co...

Thanks for your patience everyone.
We've released an update that fixes the screen blanking failure for hosts running Windows v2004 and higher. Please upgrade affected PCs to LogMeIn host software 4.1.0.14344 in order to activate the new screen blanking method.

Funny, I now have a user that somehow got updated to 20H2 from 1909. Before that her screen blanking issue appeared. I fixed it by reinstalling LogMeIn on her machine, but since the fix. Her machine updated. Now when she remotes in via LogMeIn. She receives a message that says Microsoft is causing her screen blanking not to work.

Great Question!
Since they have not set this as a priority for their clients, we have decided to move away from their service and took other action to ensure privacy. I cannot have my screen on at HQ as I do some very confidential tasks. We will be cancelling our logmein subscription within a few weeks.

Has this issue been resolved? My screen blanking is still not working.

I am very sorry for the delays for resolving this Microsoft conflict. We've updated the support center with clearer documentation around the issue and should have an ETA for resolutions soon.

This is beyond unacceptable. As a matter of fact, the non-action and lack of notification to it's users is legally questionable.

Will this be done, or will there be at least a "yes we're working on this" or "no we're deprecating the feature" announcement of some sort before Windows 10 1909 goes end of life on 5/11/2021?

I think the only way to get them to actually fix this issue is for users to leave. Time to move to Teamviewer. They have no issues with blanking the screen.

EBoon,
For us, that is not an option. The primary monitor and CPU are a single-piece unit.
If you turn off secondary monitors, it will revert all windows on those displays back to the built-in one.
For us at least, a poor state of operation.

Half a year later and no fix. Here is your fix.
Have your employees unplug their monitors at the host station.

Yes because I really need to be able to use that feature again. I pull up sensitive information often and do not need just anyone passing by being able to see it.
