Pin taskbar in full screen mode

When entering full screen mode on a remote session the task bar (bar showing sessions etc) is hidden. I'd like an option this pin the task bar so it's always visible. This would speed up switching between sessions and provide visibility of any new sessions that join.

As an alternative for handling any new sessions that are waiting to join, I might suggest an optional audible and visual alert similar to an email arrival alert in outlook.  I would repeat the audible alert every (user defined) number of minutes 

I would click on the semi transparent alert at any time to display and select pending sessions.

This might be a simpler functional solution with less programming impact. Also would conserve screen real estate.
